LOVE BRIDGE
After researching the Internet photos, studying earth maps, and finding the location of the “LOVE” sign, we decided to include this spot as part of our group tour. The 6-feet high “LOVE” is located in front of the Rainbow Bridge (pedestrian) spanning the Keelung River. It is less than 4-minute walk from front entrance of the Raohe Street Night Market. After taking over 1,300 photos on our 13-day trip through Taiwan, the favorite photograph was the one of our group standing at the “LOVE” sign with the changing multi-colored Rainbow Bridge in the background in the warm evening. Coming halfway around the world from San Francisco, we stand next to the LOVE BRIDGE ... at the Rainbow Bridge. -

Near Raohe Street Night Market
We took a metro to Songsan MRT station, visited the Raohe Street night market and then took a stroll on the riverbank next to the night market. The Rainbow bridge is visible at night and changes color, hence its name. The bridge crosses the Keelung river. Many people walk, cycle or just sit by the riverbanks. -

S- shaped bridge lights up at night
This 167 meter (550 feet) bridge lights up at night. It connects Xinming Rd in Neihhu with Raohe Street in Sungshan. It spans the Keelung River. The bridge is an s-shaped suspension construction, many couples cross Rainbow Bridge just for fun. -

Bridge is a sight to see
There is no sight that can match a well-built bridge, Taipei has several. The Rainbow Bridge lights up at night in a variety of colors. The stroll from the MRT is worth it. There's also a well-known night market nearby where you can do some shopping. The bridge is especially colorful at Lantern Festival, the 15th (and last) day of the Lunar New Year celebrations. -

Nice walk around
Nice walk around the bridge to take photos with words like Love I heart you. Nothing else since the red bridge didn't light up when I was there.
