Jianguo Holiday Jade Market is currently the biggest jade wholesale market with the most varieties in Taiwan. The market started with a couple of street vendors who had gathered near the old Guanghua Market since 1987.  Since the vendors blocked the sidewalk, they then moved to the parking lot underneath Jianguo Elevated Road and gradually expanded to the current size.

The vendors come to do business on weekends. After years of effort, the jade market finally became one of the world-famous tourist attractions in Taipei.

Jianguo Holiday Jade Market has about 800 vendors now, and the merchandise put on display for sale are as follows: jade, gemstones, antiques, silver accessories, gold accessories, pearls, coral reefs, and knot accessories. The market provides a wide selection of merchandise that can dazzle your eyes.
