Temple of Heaven replica is pleasing
I have been to Beijing three times ansd it's easy to see that this building is a replica of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing . The craft items on display here are interesting, you can also see the ornamental pond. -

Keep going up the stairs
It's really an amazing space. On the ground level is a gift shop with items beyond the standard tourist stuff. As well, there is abundant gallery space on the ground level, 2nd floor and 3rd floor. The exhibits included a Taiwan lacquer artist, a ceramics artist and a new artist's gallery. And keep going up to a nice buffet eatery, a resource library and a cozy terrace. -

See some beautiful art work
The craft centre aims to promote Taiwan art work. It is well worth a walk around. The division of "art" and "craft" is somewhat spurious, you will certanly see some beautiful things. -

Great art gallery here
We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the main building to find out they have several Murakami prints. We had seen a large Murakami exhibit in our hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Have fun wandering the galleries. The building itself is very pretty. There are students around as this is a learning institution. -

A quiet place not far from the Botanical Gardens
Have just visited this beautiful place housing at the moment an exhibition of Taiwanese teaware. The building is an attraction by itself, with spiral stairs and lots of open space. Lots of exquisite things to buy as quality souvenirs. Ìt quiet, cool and welcoming. Worth a visit if you are in this area.
