Yanping N. Rd. Sec. 3 Tourist Night Market is also known as “Daqiaotou Night Market”, or “Taipei Bridge Night Market” in the early days due to its location near the Taipei Bridge.

The Street is lined on both sides with stalls. Despite the heavy traffic on the Yanping N. Rd, the market is filled with delicious traditional food, such as chicken rolls, swordfish rice noodles, rice tube pudding, sugar mochi, rice balls with meat filling, gua bao, and beef noodles, which always attract many foodies to look for the good old tastes of Taipei in memory.

    Lovely surprise

Came here during a food tour I had booked through Viator and I’m really glad I was able to explore this place! The food here is sooo much better than the other night markets we went to. This place was authentic! Was happily surprised by the sliced tomatoes dipped in sweet ginger soy sauce sold by one vendor! So simple yet delicious! I highly recommend visiting this market!

Yansan was our first night market in Taipei. We wish we had visited with someone Taiwanese who could have helped us to understand dishes and help us to order. There was plenty on offer, we muddled our way through and ended up sampling two very good dishes. The dumplings were had were excellent. The market is not touristy and felt authentic, not a mass of stalls. They were dotted along the street alongside small roadside restaurants. Head for Yanping N. Road when you get out of Daqiaotou station. An exciting introduction to the night market scene.
