Love this place: beer and oysters
Converted soccer stadium featuring lots of microbrew/craft beer spots, great food (oysters recommended at multiple locations). -

Heart of Taipei Expo Park
If you alight from the MRT as Yuan Shan Station (Red Line) you will find the Expo Park. At the heart of the Expo Park is the MAJI Square. It has winding paths, benches and a food court. The food court has many varieties of food, including American Mexican Chilean, Indian and Mexican. Many cafes pop up from time to time, although Taiwanese seems to be the most popular. There's also a craft beer tap-room, with local and imported beers, MAJI Square comes alive at night, there's always lot to do. -

A local flavor
A few steps off the Yuanshan Station , Maji square seems a quiet place for some local fare/items , a food court with a nice set of food outlets serving food from the Philippines, Japan etc. and local food. Passed by the place to get to St. Christopher's Church, the place seems quiet with lots of students hanging around. -

Great collection of restaurants and entertainment
On the corner of the Taipei expo park Maji Square is home to a range of restaurants and boutique stores that make it a great location for an evening meal, to meet with friends or to hang out on a wet day. -

A MUST Visit- Lot's of local designers and so much to see and do
Maji Square (also known as Taipei Expo) is quite simply a must visit. It's right next to YuanShan MRT station so it's really easy to get to. There is simply so much going on. However, if gangs of teenagers frighten you back home. In Maji Square they will make your heart glow as groups of teens all seem to congregate here to practice their dance moves. Taipei is truly the nicest place I have visited and Maji square is that in a nutshell. Lots of places to eat, lots of local crafts and lots of indoor and outdoor space. We loved it.
