Linji Huguo Chan Temple is near MRT Yuanshan Station.  With the Keelung River flowing by and the mountains in the distance, the atmosphere is quite tranquil.

Linji Huguo Chan Temple is a typical example of the Edo period architecture. Built in the Japanese colonial period, the Temple is a great work of wooden building as it is one of the first buildings of its kind constructed in that period. The old Sanmon (major gate), the Main Hall, Large Whetstone, Grave of its founder, and Stone Statues of Buddha all survive intact and hold historic value.
