The area in Chifeng Street and Chengde Road, between MRT Shuanglian Station and MRT Zhongshan Station, used to primarily sell automotive parts and hardware and is thus known as the “blacksmith street”.

Today’s Chifeng Street is dotted with hipster cafes, art museums and specialty restaurants, which adds artistic ambience to the old street and ancient houses and attracts many visitors. Chifeng Street is a nice place for sipping a leisurely cup of afternoon tea and enjoying some artistic air.
