Dann Forest Park is an ecological park with a forest-like environment. Park roads are lined with trees such as camphor, cajuput, ficus and maples. Bushes and flower beds are planted throughout the park to help make the park into a lush, green space. The park is likened to the lungs of Taipei.

    Taipei, Taiwan

On cozy March days, find azaleas blossoming all around the city.

The azalea is the official flower of Taipei. Its toughness and resilience symbolize Taipei City -- no matter how many challenges it has faced as the years have passed by, Taipei stands proud and resilient, filled with vitality and energy. Taipei's azaleas bloom in force in the South Town area every spring, and you frequently encounter these pastel beauties right on the street. Taipei City hold the Taipei Azalea Festival in Daan Park every March. During the festival period the park is bursting with blooming azaleas and other flowers. We strongly recommend that you visit famous Yongkang Street, which is nearby, first trying our tasty local Taipei specialty foods, then walking about 8min to Daan Park to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and beautiful azaleas. You can also enjoy the varied open-air music performances held at designated times. This will be a very relaxing mini-tour, relaxing and refreshing both your body and mind. If you plan to visit Taipei in spring, you must not miss this opportunity. Transportation: Taipei Metro, Foot

    Central Park of Taipei City

Sixty five acres in size, the so-called “Central Park of Taipei City” lies in the heart of the city. Though just one tenth the size of New York Central Park, it is really one of the largest parks in Taipei City. In the Park, there are lawns, banyans, bamboo forest, flowers, ecological ponds, water channels, ... etc. There are also an outdoor concert venue and a children's playground. This is a wonderful place for various outdoor activities.

    Relax under the trees

Daan Forest Park has lots of trees and lots of places to stroll. There's also a large children's playground. There's a large pond that draws many varieties of water birds, which attract lots of avid photographers looking for a unique shot. I like Daan Forest Park the best of all Taipei's parks, The Daan Park Station gives easy access to the park. It's an easy walk from Renai Road. There's also an underground car park

    A respite from the city

Family relaxed, meditative friendly, street performers, plays for picnics and ball games, a little bit of forest. This podcast basically everything. Don’t try to ride your bike within the park only on the outskirts. And the international flower market and Jade diagonal across The street. You also have Louisa café at exit 3 and a cement roller skating rink also. What’s not to like

    Great park in Taipei

It's nice to find a great park here in Taipei. Daan park is one of them. The park is HUGE, great for picnic, jogging and taking your dog out for a walk. Occasionally on the weekends there would be live music performance. There are also lots of street foods around the park. Not to be missed!
