"City God's Birthday Parade" has been the biggest event in Dadaocheng of Taipei since the Qing dynasty. The parade is so magnificent as the saying goes "All people can see on May 13th is people." Magnificent ceremonies and rituals will take place on the annual Taipei Xia Hai City God Cultural Festival. Not only will the ceremony to celebrate City God's Birthday be held on May 13th on the lunar calendar but a series of events during the cultural festival. Through exhibitions, fairs, performances and lectures, people can learn more about the culture of City God in a relaxing way. People can enjoy the festival and also understand it deeply, experiencing the power of religious heritage and the features of Dadaocheng.
