Wanhua, Taipei City's oldest district, is known for its historic temples, traditional markets, local street food and other features that attract tourists year on year. In 2021, the Taipei Lantern Festival will be held in Wanhua for the first time, enlivening this historic district with modern and innovative decorations. A 3D projection mapping show, daily stage shows along with international artists and cartoon characters will offer visitors a unique festival rich in both modern and traditional elements. A large parade will also showcase Taipei's cultural abundance.
