The 2021 Treasure Hill Light Festival, with the theme "Dwell in Light," will be held throughout the Treasure Hill Artist Village from March 27 to May 9. This year, the exhibition takes three themes: “The Thoughts of the Individual,” “The Shape of Home” and “The Realm of Nature.” Each theme looks at the different definitions of home based on the artists' memories of family life and personal experiences, and explores the role of individuals in a spatial context and in community. The three themes are interpretations of ever-changing states and multifaceted relationships between people and their homes. Coinciding with the opening of the Light Festival, there will be musical performances in the park on March 27 and 28, with a main stage and a second stage. The festival's opening ceremony and musical performances will be held at the main stage (green field), and up-and-coming musical artists will perform on the second stage (the triangular grass area below Treaure Hill's historic section), and all are invited to enjoy the performances and bring a picnic.

This year, some 11 artists and groups have been invited to share their work alongside Treasure Hill's permanent culture and history exhibition. Teachers, students and alumni of Taipei Media School together with the Light Weight - Crossing Universities Work Camp jointly organized by three universities will also take part in the festival. A total of 24 inspiring artworks will be on show.
