The Taipei Fringe Festival explores diverse neighborhoods of Taipei, venturing into markets, alleys, hills, and riverbanks in search of unique performance venues. By partnering with community theaters, the festival seeks to foster a connection between art and the community, allowing artists to explore local culture and engage with the public. The aim is to create a ripple effect, inspiring more cultural spaces to participate and thereby enhancing the neighborhoods’ cultural vibrancy and cultivating new audiences for the future. The 2024 theme "Standby, Go" sets the stage for spectacular performances from each participating group at the festival.
