Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is regarded as Taipei City’s base for originality and creativity. Songyanland Festival has been held since 2012, and so far more than 100 sets of original works have been exhibited. More than 300,000 visitors are attracted to this 10-day event. Each year, cross-disciplinary art creators are invited based on specific themes. Art experience and guided tours are organized that incorporate both the park and surrounding businesses. Focusing on the spirit and the historic context of the park, the site is revitalized through art. The goal is to maintain this historic site in a sustainable way.
