Itinerary:National Palace Museum-Taipei Fine Arts Museum-Lin An-tai Historical House & Museum
The National Palace Museum, with its collection of cultural relics and treasures, is known as the “Treasure House of Chinese Culture,” and is a must-visit tourist destination in Taiwan, with nearly 700,000 pieces of artifacts that encompass the 5,000-year history of Chinese culture. The National Palace Museum features two sets of “Three Treasures”: one is the Three Treasures of the National Palace Museum in the art world, which are three giant ink paintings of the Northern Song Dynasty, and the other is the folk version of the Three Treasures of the National Palace Museum, which are the Jadeite Cabbage, the Meat-shaped Stone, and the Mao Gong Ding, so named because of the resemblance to the folk cuisine “Meat with Pickled Cabbage Hot Pot”.
