The Beitou Granary was built during the Japanese era to store the large quantities of rice produced in the Beitou and Guandu areas. Designated a Taipei City Monument in 2000, it is one of the few remaining granaries from the Japanese rule period in Taiwan.北投穀倉▲The Beitou Granary(Photo provided by the Ministry of Culture)

The Xinbeitou Station is the only century-old railway station on the Tamsui Line, even in Taipei City. Made of a wooden structure, the carved brackets under the eaves, and the 3+1 combination dormer window produced in 1937 due to the station's expansion are significant features of the station building. 新北投車站▲The Xinbeitou Station

The “Beitou Fu Dou Myo Ou Grotto,” a City Monument in Taiwan, is a relatively rare Buddhist grotto of small scale. In front of it, there are water ablution pavilions and worship pavilions. With rich geological environments of igneous and sedimentary rocks, the Sulfur Valley Geothermal Scenic Area of Yangmingshan National Park has many scenic spots, such as Longfeng Valley and the Huangxi Hot Spring Trail. Because the hot springs are acidic sulfate springs with yellow white water and a sulfur smell, they are commonly known as "sulfuric acid springs, " and they are an excellent place for families to enjoy together.硫磺谷▲Sulfur Valley Geothermal Scenic Area
