Established in 1927, Confucius Temple is in the prosperous old street of Dalongdong. Under the urban renewal plan promoted by the Taipei City Government, the Taipei Confucius Temple, Dalong Elementary School, and Baoan Temple formed the Dalongdong Cultural Park, known as the "Temple, School, and Shrine." It has multiple meanings, such as a place of ceremony, a symbol of Confucianism, and a city historic monument.
