National Museum of History
▲National Museum of History
This is Taiwan’s very first national-level museum, and the building itself is a work of art—elegantly combining traditional palace architecture with modern construction techniques. After its reopening in 2024, not only has the structure been beautifully restored, but the museum’s collection now spans from prehistoric times to the present, filled with elements of everyday life. When you visit, you’ll get to admire exclusive glazed roof tiles and intricate painted details. Through innovative curatorial approaches, you’ll embark on a cultural journey through time and space, gaining a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s history and collective memory.

Taipei Children's Amusement Park

Taipei Children’s Amusement Park is a family-friendly destination specially designed for kids and parents in the metro area. It features 13 fun and exciting rides, including a thrilling roller coaster, a dreamy Ferris wheel, and playground equipment made just for toddlers. One of its best features is the convenience of using the EasyCard—you can use it for everything from entering the park to riding the attractions. The park also has a food court, souvenir shops, and various indoor play areas, so kids can enjoy rain or shine. It’s the perfect spot for a family day out!

Taipei Zoo is the largest zoo in Southeast Asia and is well-known for its successful conservation of the Formosan sika deer. Its emblem also represents the important value of wildlife preservation. The zoo features a wide variety of animal species and offers multiple tour routes, allowing visitors to explore freely based on their interests. From the adorable sika deer to rare animals from around the world, this place is not only perfect for getting close to nature but also serves as an ideal venue for ecological education and learning about animal conservation.

Maokong Gondola
▲Maokong Gondola

The Maokong Gondola is the only cable car system in Taipei City. Stretching 4 kilometers long, it offers three breathtaking views: the misty mountains after the rain, the golden hues of sunsets, and the sparkling city lights at night. From inside the cabin, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Taipei 101, Jingmei River, and the cityscape. Once you reach the final stop at Maokong, don’t miss out on tasting the locally famous Muzha Tieguanyin tea and unique tea-infused meals. Sipping tea while overlooking the Taipei Basin at night is a one-of-a-kind experience you’ll never forget.
