The Szechuan Court, situated on the 12F of the Ambassador Hotel Taipei, Is one of the few Five-star hotel restaurants in Taipei serving mainly Szechuan cuisine. With excellent views, clear, bright French windows and yellow/black interior décor, together with the soft lighting, all these features make the Szechuan Court warm and graceful. In addition, the restaurant also offers an elegant, peaceful VIP box for all types of banquet occasions.

The authentic cuisines are renowned domestically and internationally, attracting countless gourmands to visit the restaurant; it is especially popular among Japanese tourists. The signature dishes include Green Bean Pancakes, Kungpao Chicken and Spicy Mapo Tofu etc. In addition to traditional Szechuan dishes, in order to satisfy your palate of exquisite taste, the Ambassador Hotel Taipei occasionally dispatches chefs to Szechuan China to hone their skills and study authentic Szechuan flavors.

Very Good Chuan Tsai

This is a traditional Chinese SzeChuan restaurant. The decor is so so. The service is so so. The food is authentic and very very good. The roast duck is perhaps the best in Taipei - certainly rivals the more expensive restaurants. All of the SzeChuan dishes taste as you want them to taste - not overly spiced - but the more subtle blend of peppers and spices that characterizes classic SzeChuan.

We had our family lunch there and the food was great! Many of the dishes have a little heat to it like the fish in soup, mapo tofu, duckblood with chili, and stinky tofu. Their Peking duck is so tasty as well!
