The Children’s Day long weekend is right around the corner! To celebrate the occasion, Taipei Children’s Amusement Park (TCAP), Maokong Gondola, and Taipei Arena will introduce a series of Children’s Day deals between April 2 and 5!
TCAP:
Maokong Gondola:
With either their digital student ID card, related ID document, or the 2022 Taipei Children’s Month Pamphlet, kids in elementary school nationwide or under can receive a free one ride voucher from any Maokong Gondola Station that offers unlimited number of rides for the day (accompanying parents need to purchase their respective tickets).
In addition, the mascots of Taipei Zoo Leopard Cat and Big Panda will greet visitors during 30-minute sessions at 10 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM, and 3 PM daily between April 2 and 5. The mascots will appear at Maokong Gondola’s Taipei Zoo Station and Taipei Zoo South Station and hand out small souvenirs. Those taking their pictures with the mascots and uploading the photos to their social media accounts (such as Facebook or IG) can receive a single journey ticket from the information booth of Maokong Gondola. Each account is limited to one single journey ticket.
From April 6 through the end of April, families who enter or leave from Taipei Zoo South Station with accompanying kid(s) of age 12 or under will receive a single journey ticket per family. The ticket is valid for one trip on the Maokong Gondola between May 1 and December 30, 2022.
Taipei Arena Ice Land
Between April 2 and 5, kids 12 or under can receive a free 2-hour skating voucher with their ID document (does not include skate and gear rental).
Kids 12 or under purchasing a Kids Skating Package Ticket can enjoy the discount price of NT$280 which includes skate and gear rental, as well as souvenir gloves and a TCAP One-day Pass.
As a reminder, visitors should carry out contact-tracing registration, take their temperature at the gates, wear face mask, and maintain social distancing. Hand sanitizer is available at the gate as well. Disinfection is conducted routinely at the facilities.

- Free Admission: As a part of the city government’s 2022 Taipei Children’s Month event, all kids from elementary schools and under (nationwide) and one accompanying parent will receive free admission to TCAP between April 2 and 5 by either showing their ID document or Children’s Month Activity Fan at the gate. All use of amusement park facility will be charged as usual.
- One-day Pass for 2 for NT$300: Customers purchasing two One-day Pass will receive a 50% discount on their second ticket. They will also receive a bonus of a pack of TRTC coffee and two tickets to Area A of the Giant Insect Exhibition, as well as a raffle for extra gifts!
- Buy a Pair of NT$500 TCAP Pass Package for Free Limited Lotion Worth NT$1,600: Those purchasing two NT$500 TCAP Pass packages will receive a free lotion worth NT$1,600 – available in limited supply and first-come-first-served basis.
- Children’s Amusement Flea Market: Several plazas around TCAP will hold a special Children’s Day Weekend Flea Market starting at 10 AM each day from April 2 through 5. Visitors will find craftworks, food and drinks, DIY lessons, and more!
- Majimeow, Ultraman Meet-the-Fans Events: Kids will enjoy meeting Majimeaow each day between April 2 and 4. On April 4, characters from Ultraman will also greet their fans. Of course, the Ultraman-themed soccer activity is still ongoing at the first-floor indoor amusement area.
- Souvenir Lottery and Raffle: A special raffle at the entry gates will take place between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM on April 4. Come and try your luck to win prizes including air purifier, dehumidifier, Majimeow-themed EasyCard and Maokong One-day Pass!
- IF Kids Theatre Presents Little Dino at Cowboy Town: The IF Kids Theatre Troupe will present their new play at TCAP between April 2 and 17. Join the team of protagonist dinosaurs as they face challenges of Cowboy Town!
