Starting May 23, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) will implement flexible scheduling for MRT services in response to changes in passenger numbers during the pandemic.
TRTC to Implement Flexible Train Schedule in Response to Pandemic 
1.Train service headway for peak hours during workdays remain unchanged.

2.Off-peak hours on workdays:
(1)Tamsui-Xinyi Line, Bannan Line, Zhonghe-Xinlu Line: Headway adjusted from 4.5 minutes to 4.75 minutes (for non-interlapping zones, the headway is adjusted from 9 minutes to 9.5 minutes).
(2)Songshan-Xindian Line: Headway extended from 5-7 minutes to 6-8 minutes.
(3)Wenhu Line: Temporarily unchanged.
(4)Circular Line: Headway adjusted from 9 minutes to 10 minutes.

3.Service headways on holidays
(1)Tamsui-Xinyi Line and Bannan Line: Before 10 AM and after 8 PM, the headway of 4.75 minutes for overlapping zones/9.5 minutes for non-overlapping zones will be replaced with 9.5 minutes for both zones.
(2)Wenhu, Songshan-Xindian, and Zhonghe-Xinlu lines: Temporarily unchanged.
(3)Circular Line: Headway changed from 9 minutes to 10 minutes.
 
TRTC recommends passengers to download the “Go! Taipei Metro” App for real-time updates on trains. Information is also available via the platform screens or the website of the company.
 
Passengers are reminded to wear their face mask at all times inside MRT stations and observe personal hygiene best practices, as well as practice social distancing.
