The exciting Summer Days Family Carnival will take place starting at 3 PM at Nanxing Park (located next to MRT Nangang Station) on August 20!
The carnival comprises attractions including a family handicraft market; numerous games and challenges stalls; an outdoor movie theater, and an exhibition of Majimeow’s past collaborations with TRTC – along with a huge inflatable Majimeow. The Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) also joined hands with Taipei Public Library (TPL) to bring a mobile library vehicle to the venue to promote the joy of reading to visitors.
For fans of Majimeow, an entire section at the venue has been transformed into the lair of the lovely cat and his friends! In addition to the gigantic, 11-meter-tall Majimeow lying flat on the grass, there is also a display of Majimeow’s key visual artworks used for decorating the exterior of MRT trains between 2017 and 2021. Visitors will have a chance to capture all of the different Majimeow and TRTC collaborative illustrations at one location!
At 4:30 PM, the beloved “Popcorn Theater” will air the movie “Missing Link” before the audience. Come join the protagonists in traversing mountains and rivers as they embark on an exciting journey across the world.
Meanwhile, one of TPL’s mobile library vehicle has been renamed “The Boundless Reading.” It is loaded with books to share with both young and adult readers. For book lovers, you won’t want to miss this chance to enjoy interesting books and take part in activities spanning “Mobile Exhibition x Region Exploration” Challenge to book swaps.
For more details, please call TRTC’s 24-hour customer’s hotline (TEL: 020218-12345) or the 1999 Citizens’ Hotline. More information is also available on the company’s Chinese website ([Link]).
