To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation will release the Year of the Rabbit MRT Commemorative Ticket Set! The design tells the story of a rabbit’s traveling from the plains to the mountain peak, symbolizing the MRT accompanying the passengers in a bright and successful 2023.

A total of 400 sets will be available online via the Taipei Metro Store on Shopee from 10 AM on January 3 through 8.
For those who prefer to purchase the merchandise at brick-and-mortar stores, the metro souvenir stands at MRT Zhongshan Station and MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station will carry the product starting 10 AM on January 14. Only 400 sets are available at these shops.
The price of the commemorative ticket set is NT$360. Each set comes with two MRT One-day Pass (no limit on starting date and deposit not included), two red envelopes with special design, and 1 spring couplet. This merchandise is limited to a maximum of two sets per customer.

Meanwhile, TRTC partnership with the immensely popular Flying Pikachu Project continues in 2023 with the introduction of three new Pikachu Maokong Gondola Commemorative Ticket Sets. They are currently available at metro souvenir shops at MRT Taipei Main Station, MRT Zhongshan Station, MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, and MRT Nanjing Fuxing Station, as well as all stations along the Maokong Gondola.
The “Classic” package includes two MRT One-day Pass and two Maokong Gondola One-day Pass for NT$720. Both the “Flying” set and “Soaring” set come with one MRT One-day Pass and one Maokong Gondola One-day Pass, and each of these sets is priced at NT$350. The commemorative packages are available during the period when the special ‘Flying Pickachu’ MRT trains are in operations, so grab your copy before supplies run out!
