With the pandemic subsiding, international travelers have returned in large numbers. To enable these tourists to enjoy the unique charms of Taipei City and boost local tourism, the Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT) has introduced a special summer sales campaign featuring the Taipei Fun Pass.
From today through August 31st, customers who purchase the Taipei Fun Pass through the card’s official website will receive a 20% discount on the price. Furthermore, the 3-day pass will be available for NT$1,900. To sweeten the deal, the 3-day pass also comes with a “Dadaocheng x Yongkang x Maokong Bonus Giftpack”!
According to TPEDOIT, the Taipei Fun Pass is the only city pass on the Island that integrates transportation and admission to tourist attractions. Since sales began in 2017, the card has received widespread acclaim and has proven to be a great tool for both domestic and international tourists visiting Taipei.
Within the validity period, the Taipei Fun Pass offers unlimited travel on the MRT, four routes of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Service, and the public bus systems of Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung City. Furthermore, the Taipei Fun Pass also includes admission tickets to 25 must-visit attractions, including Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, and Yehliu Geopark.
As part of a special promotion package this year, anyone who purchases the card also receives a pearl milk tea hands-on session, a sky lantern release session, a Maokong 'tea-sealing' session, and a tour of the Grand Hotel’s secret evacuation tunnel.
