The "Taipei New Year's Eve Party – New Year countdown for 2026" attracted approximately 200,000 people. Performances by Taiwanese and Korean artists kept the atmosphere lively from night into the new year.
Online and offline viewers have enjoyed a 6-minute fireworks display at Taipei 101. The party also featured numerous crossover performances, with 13 artist teams taking turns on stage. In response to the crowds during New Year's Eve, the city government mobilized over 7,000 personnel to ensure safety, traffic, and environmental maintenance, enabling a smooth conclusion to the celebrations.
