Taipei Astronomical Museum’s April Themed Guided T
The Lyrids Meteor Shower is one of the meteor showers with the longest historical records, with related accounts dating back more than a thousand years. As part of its April themed guided tour program, Taipei Astronomical Museum specially arranges for professional guides to explain the causes of meteor showers, observation methods, and related astronomical knowledge, helping visitors grasp the key points before stargazing and enhancing the viewing experience. The themed guided tour is held once at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and once each at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. on holidays. No reservation is required.

In addition to the themed guided tour, the museum's rooftop observatory also offers a variety of observation experiences. During the day, visitors can safely observe sunspots through telescopes and learn about changes in solar activity. Every Saturday evening, stargazing activities are also held, allowing visitors to enjoy the spring night sky through telescopes. By combining professional interpretation with actual stargazing, the museum helps visitors connect more closely with astronomy and experience the charm of the night sky.
