On the evening of April 18, Taipei City Mayor Chiang Wan-an gathered with visitors at Dahu Park in Neihu District. As part of "Culture in the Alley," Coming True Fire Group delivered a spectacular performance, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere and drawing constant applause. In his remarks, he said that the city government has long been committed to bringing cultural performances deeper into residents' daily lives and into local communities. In 2026, "Culture in the Alley" will feature 120 performances, appearing in relay across Taipei City's 12 administrative districts and continuing to bloom throughout the city.

Chiang Wan-an went on to say that Coming True Fire Group, founded in the summer of 2014, is Asia's only professional dance troupe rooted in fire dance and dedicated to staging large-scale fire dance theater productions. The group has taken part in major overseas performances and received high praise from judges. Among them, troupe member Yang Li-wei appeared on the stage of Britain's Got Talent in February this year, winning over international audiences with an outstanding performance. She is truly a pride of Taiwan and helped the world see Taiwan's cultural strength.

Chiang Wan-an added that he and the city government team have always hoped to bring "Culture in the Alley" truly into local communities and parks, while continuing to explore breakthroughs and innovation and inviting first-rate international-caliber groups to perform. He said that everyone had been looking forward to today's performance by Coming True Fire Group. He also expressed special thanks to the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and the Municipal Chinese Orchestra for their strong support in many "Culture in the Alley" events.
