Taipei Zoo reopened on July 2, inviting visitors of all ages to enjoy the summer break. During the 10-day routine inspection period, zoo staff completed maintenance work including cleaning building exterior walls and rest facilities, typhoon-preparedness tree pruning, plant care, pavement cleaning, and drainage ditch dredging. The grounds are now fully ready to welcome visitors.

This year's newest animal stars have officially made their debut: "Bintang," a male Malayan tapir from Singapore Zoo, has moved into the Tropical Rainforest Area after completing quarantine, while "Qianqian," a female red panda from Asahiyama Zoo in Japan, has begun exploring the Temperate Animal Area. During the summer break, the red panda can freely move between indoor and outdoor spaces to keep cool. The clouded leopard and orangutan enclosures have also been refreshed with new fallen logs and climbing perches, creating a more varied environment for climbing.

Taipei Zoo also reminds visitors to follow zoo rules: do not climb or cross enclosure barriers, and do not feed animals inside or outside the zoo grounds. Together, visitors can help maintain a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
