2017 Taipei Lantern Festival will take place February 4th through 12th this year with a spectacular parade in Ximending. This year’s “Xicheng (West Town) Carnival” will feature an ultra-large Matsu float standing eight-meter tall, parading with record-breaking attendance. Traffic on Zhonghua Road will be restricted from noon to 8pm as the city celebrates lantern festival.
