"The Guest House, Sheraton Taipei Hotel" uses black and white images of Zhouzhuang and Suzhou to create the riverside scenery which matches beautifully with Szechwan and Yangzhou Cuisine. Their classic dishes including "The Braised Noodles with Yellow Fish Broth" and "Suzhou style Steamed Pork Dumplings" etc. all represent the traditional and original tastes. "The Braised Pork Knuckles with Rock Sugar", especially, uses pork knuckles containing rich gel and tendons instead of the fatty pork, and moreover, some red rice germs are added in to reduce cholesterol. So it has become the healthy specialty in "The Guest House."

Great food, great service,Great food, great service, rarely disappoints us. But we look forward to more options on lunch set for vegetarians. A little pity that we don’t have good experience on table arrangement this time, had better to reconfirm it with reservation team in advance when make a reservation next time.

I went with high expectations!I went with high expectations sadly we were disappointed with the food- no taste. The food is overrated. In the other hand the service was great! We had Darren taking care of us, he extremely attentive and polite! Thank you very much Darren for the great service!
from the top to very average and Why two stars?????????Last week I went again to this place for the birthday of my son. What a disappointment. Starting with the small dishes and the one i used to love which is a thousand year egg with some red pepper and chili sauce... Absolutely no taste then the green peas with shrimps the pea were so dry and absolutely no taste and with the shrimps generally delicately peeled some carapace was still on them. What a disgrace and generally dishes had lost their special taste except the wrap with onions like with Beijing duck which was excellent the rest was not even worth an average restaurant. Is it like the rest at this hotel that once they launch it looks like they are cutting cost . If they keep even one star at the next michelin round I would stop considering Michelin as a reference and being a 78 years old frenchman I will be sorry for Michelin.
Definitely Worth Michelin 2-starPerfect for family gathering. All the dishes were delicious and the service was great. Will come back again for sure.

A unique experience in a fine restaurantWe have been to other restaurant in Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel. This time we tried Guest House in the same hotel. It was a very good experience in this restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant, courteous servers, presentation and the taste of foods were superb ! Would I go again? Yes.
