A small cup of espresso offers a bitter taste with a touch of sweetness. Yet if you do not like the bitter taste, there are other kinds of Italian coffee, such as iced Mocha with a layer of Mocha smoothie over the coffee, which tastes rather special; or a cup of latte containing the perfect blend of delicate and smooth frothy milk with coffee, paired with hazelnut, which provides an extremely dense taste. All coffees provided by the shop are made from coffee beans roasted by the shop owner himself.

Finally, the shop’s tiramisu is its signature snack that goes wonderfully with its coffee. You may enjoy some relaxing moments here with the coffee and music in the laidback afternoon.

Located in the gourmet district of Yongkang Street, there is a venerable coffee shop called Carvalli Café Italiano. Inside the bright and clear glass, paintings are hung on the warm cream-colored walls. The wooden tables and chairs, imported from Europe, are spaciously placed, so that even if there is a full house, guests will not feel pressured in the cozy atmosphere. The shop adopted a simple yet exquisite style of decoration. In addition to paintings, there is a coffee shelf and glass display window to showcase coffee and works of art. There is also a coffee roaster on display.

The most distinctive feature of the shop is its Italian coffee, which is made by the shop by roasting 7 kinds of raw Kenya AA grade coffee beans with a rich nutty taste.

Decent coffee

Decent coffee but very few choices for any food/snacks. Glad they were open early but wish they had something to eat besides cake.

A relaxed coffee corner on crowded YungKang Street

Though the stores and cafes on YungKang street change rapidly, this cafe is unique. No fancy, no artificial flavors. Just good coffee, light music and cozy atmosphere to make it stand out of crowd.

We are not coffee expert but their coffee and cake just failed to impress us. The coffee could taste stronger. The rum raisin cheesecake was smooth but didn't have any liquor flavour. Staff was friendly however. It's spacious too.

Best coffee ever

A small cafe. The best coffee I have ever had. Their cappuccino in better than those in Italy. Only criticism, very limited, probably bought, cakes on offer with the coffee.

Good coffee but you pay a premium

Good coffee quality, nice atmosphere but you pay double of most coffee joints. Tiramisu is good! But only weekends. Iced Americano is weird though, served in a coffee cup with ice chucked in.....could be improved in presentation.
