Introduction

Yat-Sen Park, also known as Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial House, is near Taipei Station. It is a small park to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. In the Park, Umeyashiki was a famous fine dining restaurant in Taipei during the Japanese era. Its name came from the plum trees planted in the garden.

With the concept of Chinese Jiangnan Landscaping, plum trees, black pines, dragon Chinese junipers, and other evergreen trees are planted in the garden. The pavilions, curved bridges, artificial mountains, pools, and fragrant white and pink plum blossoms all add an elegant atmosphere to the garden.

Although Yat-Sen Park is not large, because of the proximity to Taipei’s transportation hub Taipei Station, it always attracts many tourists to come to enjoy the flowers every plum blooming season.
