Many influential people have come from Shanghai but Shanghai cuisine is not very popular. In my opinion, you would get a better view and a better meal at the Marco Polo, in the same hotel.

On Chinese New Year we celebrated. The Shanghai cuisine was great with a wide variety of dishes. The prices were high but service was good.

Not worth the money. Poor service and mediocre food for the money. Definitely not up to Shangri-La service standards.

Rather price but you come really for the view, the table ware, not for the food. The service was rather slow given that there were only three tables. In fact, the view of Taipei is better from the Marco Polo side.

We were very fortunate to get to know the General Manager who had so kindly make reservation for our wedding anniversary dinner. We were given VIP treatment and the recommendation of the dishes by Tina Chang was really delicious especially as we do not take meat at all. We met each other in Shanghai and so the shanghainese atmosphere was most appropriate for our evening. Thank you Randy and Tina for an unforgettable anniversary!
