Shanghai Court, Hyatt Hotel Taipei 臺北君悅酒店-雲錦中餐廳

Anchor point
2F., No.2, Songshou Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City Taiwan, R.O.C

The classic Shanghai cuisines are strongly promoted by Shanghai Court of Hyatt Hotel Taipei; and the chef’s best recommendations will be the "Pot-sticker-like Bean Curd Sheet with Fried Duck and Wild Mushrooms” which uses fried duck and wild mushrooms as fillings to be wrapped by bean curd sheets and tastes both crispy and tender. The other creative dish "Cabbage and Roasted Wheat Glutens Stuffed with Chopped Streaky Pork" is also popular and admirable in Shanghai Court that even if the gourmand will praise it pretty highly.

    Satisfies picky diners

Chinese people are very picky about their food. When you see that the menu is derived from a variety of sources -- Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Taiwan -- you wonder a bit. However, the food is very well done and satisfies the pickiest of diners. I have diined at Yun Jin several times and I have always gone away feeling satisfied. Prices are not cheap, but are reasonable for what you get.

Should try something outside of GH

Had dinner at this Chinese restaurant on a week night - plenty of people and I suppose patrons who stay at the hotel. Not much variety in the menu and honestly, if you are looking for some authentic Taiwanese cuisine or other Chinese dishes without paying high prices, venture out to the main city for more choice and a more tongue watering experience. So so, and would not recommend unless you are out of options and time!

Authentic Chinese food + Great tea

We had a great dining experience here, food was really delicious, the service was hit or miss, it was a full house that day so maybe that's why they couldn't keep up with some request I asked for. They also have good selection of teas, we had 玄米茶 roasted rice aroma is so different with the regular leafy tea.
