The Taipei Azalea Festival, inspired by the city's official flower and held during the spring blossom period, combines surrounding communities, markets and business circles, cultural activities and numerous educational programs. One of the most popular events is the Picnic Concert held at Daan Forest Park, when Taipei City invites all its residents to admire the flowers and enjoy the music together.
