Coinciding with the Year of the Dragon, the 2024 Taipei Jazz Festival is themed "Dragon Dance Jazz" this year, a combination of Eastern and Western cultures with everyone being invited to join in the jazz fun. Six live performances will be held between August 30 and September 10 at popular Taipei venues like Riverside Red House Theater Performance Hall, Oldie Goodie, Blue Note, and Rev-Now, featuring jazz newcomers selected from the "New Generation Jazz Open Call." Also, thirteen jazz bands from the United States, Italy, and Taiwan will perform at outdoor concerts in Daan Park from September 6 to 8.
