The 2023 Taipei Water Lantern Festival will be held in the diverse city of Taipei on November 19, from 15:00 to 18:00. The event will take place at Chengmei Left Bank Riverside Park, the grounds by the Rainbow Bridge, and Xikou Rainbow Wharf. Both new immigrants and local residents are welcome to join the event and release water lanterns. Cast away your misfortune and negativity and ask for good luck and positive energy.

Exciting activities scheduled for the day include:

◈ Riverside Cultural Performances

15:00 - 18:00: Live performances by new immigrant singers

◈ Explore the World Challenge

Participants can collect stamps by completing challenges and exchange them for small gifts.

◈ International Cultural Experience

Experience the culture of Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

◈ Water Lantern DIY and Release

15:00 - 17:00: Water lantern DIY 

17:00 - 18:00: Release water lanterns at Xikou Rainbow Wharf


Transportation Information:

MRT: Take Exit 5 of Songshan Station, walk through the alley beside Songshan Ciyou Temple, turn left onto Songhe Street, and walk about 100 meters to enter through Keelung River No. 4 Evacuation Gate.
